Java is awesome; I have really enjoyed the challenge of OOP. It's been a blast building back-end applications using the Spring framework, JPA, and Thymeleaf. (Bonus points: Java tastes amazing.)
As a brand new developer I was a bit overwhelmed by the versatility of JS, but as I learned more intimidation turned to appreciation. I have used this language for front-end optimization as well as back-end web apps using Node.js and Express.
Strong HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap skills, with exposure to Sass and JQuery. Even though I gravitate toward back-end technologies I have a high regard for front-end. After all, software isn't great without great UI/UX!
Experience building apps using Mongoose, Sequelize, and JPA. Not scared of migrations!
Plays well with others. Lots of experience building small-scale programs/functions in a small group.
Solid foundation with JetBrains products (IntelliJ and Datagrip) as well as Adobe Creative Suite.

Web Developer and Experienced Team Leader
I'm Jennilyn, a web developer from beautiful Greenville, SC. I love programming, laughing, drinking coffee, and playing with dogs.
Thanks to a crossword-crazy granny I grew up loving puzzles, the strategy involved in tackling them, and the excitement when you finally fill in the last letter or place the last pesky piece. Programming excites me in the same way. Never will I run out of things to learn or puzzles to solve.
Feel free to contact me if I can support your business, whether as a developer or contractor. I look forward to hearing from you!
